With the One Piece Live-Action show already moving towards a second season, there are plenty of things fans are looking forward to. From the story arcs, new characters, and the live-action interpretations of anime events, all of it is making people very excited. Of course, One Piece is well known for its fight scenes. Taking the scenes from the anime and putting them into live-action can be a challenge. However, One Piece has done a good job so far. Meaning that fans are very much looking forward to season 2 and all it has to offer. Here are some of the fights fans can’t wait to see!
8. Luffy vs Magellan
As the vice warden of Impel Down, the sadistic warden has a Devil Fruit that allows him to control poison. He was one of the first enemies to hand Luffy a defeat, despite the Straw Hat pirate’s preparation. He’s a giant man with strength, power, poison, and the ability to use his horns like knuckledusters.
Many fans can’t wait to see the entire Impel Down arc, as well as how Magellan will be interpreted into live-action. Plus, seeing Luffy face defeat is something that will certainly be heart-wrenching.
7. Luffy vs Usopp
Many One Piece fans shed a lot of tears during the Enies Lobby Arc. One of the reasons why was the duel for ownership of the Going Merry between Luffy and Usopp. When the ship becomes damaged beyond repair, the pair battle for control of the ship. While Luffy manages to win, Usopp does battle with everything he has and holds his own for the brief fight.
If this entire scene and the emotions of the arc are shown effectively, then it has the potential to be amazing. Seeing the two former friends battle it out, and then watching their relationship come back together is one of the highlights of the anime. Hopefully, it is a highlight for the live-action as well.
6. Zoro vs Kaku
Most fans just want to see how the animalistic members of Cipher Pol will be shown in live-action. Even by anime standards, the duel between Zoro and a giant giraffe is awesome! The surprising swordfight was something that everyone enjoyed. Zoro got a new power, and we actually got to see Kaku learning how to best use his new form.
If they can recreate this duel in live-action, then not only will it be a feast for the eyes, but also a fun fight for the anime fans!
5. Zoro vs Bartholomew Kuma
It can be very fun to watch battles change partners. Especially when the main character lies defeated. Luffy was unable to continue battling against Kuma, so Zoro showed up to take his place. Despite Zoro’s best efforts, he was unable to deal any real damage to Kuma, but Kuma did leave him alive.
This is one of the more important pre-timeskip battles where Zoro and Luffy start the drive to become stronger. Seeing it play out in live-action is something that everyone will enjoy. Especially since none of the Straw Hats were able to defeat Kuma.
4. The War At Marineford
Some of the big battles in One Piece are wonderful, and there is no bigger battle than the war at Marineford. Seeing the execution of Luffy’s surrogate brother Ace, the Impel Down breakout, and all out war between Whitebeard’s forces and the Marines. There are plenty of amazing battles that push the excitement to the max.
But more so than that, there are plenty of emotional moments that drive the entire story forward. It is one of the things that will be an amazing series of episodes during the live-action One Piece. Plus it will be a massive visual spectacle.
3. Sanji vs Page One
One of the biggest problems that Sanji has is his past. The Vinsmoke family has technology and genetic manipulation on their side. However, Sanji has kept his distance from all of that for the most part. That is, until he battles Page One and uses a Vinsmoke Raid suit from Germa 66.
While Page One is able to turn into a massive dinosaur, seeing Sanji in his raid suit will be utterly amazing. Along with him finally embracing the darker side of his past and his family. This will likely be some amazing character development for the Live-Action series.
2. The Straw Hats vs. The Pacifista
Bartholomew Kuma was one of the toughest opponents that the Straw Hats have faced. However, he was cloned by Doctor Vegapunk in order to be an immortal and powerful cyborg warrior. The very first time the Straw Hats battled one unit, all of them had to work together to take it down.
Seeing the entire Straw Hats crew working together as a team is something fans of the live-action series can’t get enough of. Especially against such a powerful foe as the Pacifista. Because it is really something that the crew hasn’t faced before.
1. Nami vs Miss Doublefinger
Nami is a very fun character. Regardless of the manga, anime, or live-action versions, the navigator of the Straw Hats is someone who has had plenty of amazing moments. While she isn’t much of a fighter, she did battle against Miss Doublefinger on her own.
With her weather powers, she was able to make up for the power difference and overpower her foe. It was an interesting look into Nami’s abilities and also foreshadows just how strong she is going to get later on. Getting a good Nami fight in the live-action series is always welcome, and this would be a wonderful one!
All The Live Action Fights Are Going To Be Amazing
It might be interesting to see all of the fights the fans aren’t looking forward to in the live-action One Piece. There are plenty of amazing fights, Devil Fruit users, and combat techniques. All of them are going to be amazing to see in live-action!
So keep waiting for season two, and soon fans all over will see a second season of fights, sailing, and the Straw Hats!
