Devil Fruits is the power system of the One Piece world that has kept us in awe for over two decades. More often than not, we’ve been told that these fruits have a will of their own, choosing their owners. However, with a recent development where a price was placed on a particular fruit, we started to wonder. If you could buy devil fruits, which one would be the strongest? And that is what led to the creation of this list. Not everyone can understand the power scaling of devil fruits due to their application. However, what if you incorporate a monetary value to these fruits? Will it make the power levels easier to understand? Let’s find out which are the most expensive Devil Fruits in One Piece!
7. Suke Suke No Mi: Shiryu
The first fruit on the list sounds way stronger on paper than it actually is. The Suke Suke No Mi, or clear clear fruit, allows users to turn invisible and strike from the shadows. The power of invisibility seems extremely overpowered until you consider how it doesn’t affect the other aspects of your being. For example, if you step on a puddle, you will still make a sound.
Or if you move through a cloud of dense smoke, the air will disperse around you, telling people where you are. The only reason this fruit is strong in the series is because Shiryu holds it. Shiryu is a very strong and disciplined swordsman which allows him to make full use of this fruit. We assume this fruit will be priced at around 500 million or more.
6. Doku Doku No Mi: Magellan
The power to control a strong poison that paralyzes anyone it touches is pretty good in itself. But add the immunity to so many types of poisons that come along with it, and the Doku Doku no Mi turns into a god-tier fruit. Impel Down is home to some of the strongest pirates of the sea and, at one point, even held Rogers and Shiki.
This means that the fighter holding down fort at Impel Down is at least strong enough to defend against these powerhouses. Magellan is the current user of the Venom fruit and the warden of Impel Down. He has never been seen using haki but has been able to hold down fort solely thanks to the power of his fruit. This will allow the fruit to carry a price of at least 750 million.
5. Hito Hito no Mi, Model Daibutsu: Sengoku
Imagine being able to harvest the power of Buddha just because you ate a bad-tasting fruit. That’s what the Hito Hito no Mi, Model Daibutsu does for you. Although the true extent of the fruit’s power is unknown, it did allow Sengoku to reach the level of Fleet Admiral. This alone speaks volumes of the fruit’s powers. Additionally, with the few strikes, we saw him throw at Marineford, his strength spans most of the series’s characters right now. And all of this is thanks to his devil fruit. For the right buyer, motivated by religious beliefs, this fruit can easily be sold for a billion berries.
4. Uo Uo no Mi, Model Seiryu: Kaido
Most people of the world have a fascination with dragons. Especially traditional dragons that appear imposing and all-powerful. Although the fruit itself didn’t do much for Kaido and needed a strong individual to make full use of it, it is still one of the best fruits one can have. Who wouldn’t want to fly through the skies as a graceful dragon.
However, if you are hoping to get battle utility out of it, you need to first train yourself. This is why Kaido was considered to be the strongest creature, as he was extremely sturdy even without his devil fruit. But the power to turn into a dragon can easily be worth around 1.5 billion berries.
3. Gura Gura No Mi: Whitebeard
Now, this is a fruit that was limited in potential due to its user. Not because Whitebeard was weak or anything, but because he was morally a good guy. The Gura Gura no Mi is said to have the power to destroy the world as it stands. This can be seen when Whitebeard uses his fruit to destroy the Marineford base completely.
The power to uproot an entire island is absolutely broken. Especially in a world where seawater itself is like poison to some of the strongest people around it. Just flip an island over and toss everyone into the water, killing half the manpower. This makes this fruit easily worth around 2.5 billion berries.
2. Hito Hito no Mi, Model Nika, Luffy
What would you pay for the power of a God? This is exactly what the Hito Hito no Mi, Model: Nika grants you. This fruit enables the user to bend the laws of the world and become a ruler of his domain. Now, there are other god fruits that we’ve seen in the series. However, none are as impactful as this one. The fruit is limited by nothing other than the power of the user’s imagination.
This fruit should be able to replicate the power of any other fruit as long as the user is able to imagine it. This is a boundless power that will only grow with each passing moment. It is extremely difficult to put a price on such a power, except it doesn’t do the one thing the fruit on number one does. So we will price it at a staggering 4.5 billion berries.
1. Ope Ope No Mi: Law
As we mentioned earlier, there isn’t much that beats the power of Nika. However, this fruit does the one thing Nika cannot. Coincidently, it is also the only fruit with a monetary value incorporated by the series itself. This fruit is the Ope Ope no Mi, currently owned by Law. This fruit allows users to create a room where the user can freely control anyone and anything.
Whether they want to sever people’s limbs inside the room or just displace things to another place this fruit does it all. However, this fruit’s ability to grant immortality makes it the strongest. Although the user will have to sacrifice his life, if they are able to successfully perform the immortality surgery with it, the target gets a never-ending life. This ability has valued this fruit at an unbelievable 5 billion berries.
