Where Will The Story Of One Piece Go In Season 2?5. Vice Admiral Smoker4. Tony Tony Chopper3. Dr. Kureha2. Nico Robin1. Princess Nefertari Vivi More Characters Announcements Are Likely Coming

Season One of the live-action One Piece series is well acclaimed. So everyone wants to know more about season 2. Not just for the continuation of the story of the Straw Hats, but also the announcement of the new characters! There are plenty of new characters confirmed to show up. Many of them have fans extremely excited to see their live-action counterparts! Here are some of the new characters we will see in season 2. Some of these characters are confirmed as cast. Others might appear but we don’t know who will play them yet, which makes it even more exciting!

Where Will The Story Of One Piece Go In Season 2?

One Piece Season One ended with the Straw Hats defeating Arlong and securing Nami as the navigator. If the story continues to follow the manga, then the Straw Hats will get to Loguetown before the Grand Line. Then they will hit the Arabasta story arc. This includes a lot of stories such as Drum Island, Whiskey Peak, and of course Arabasta itself.

These stories lead to the introduction of a ton of new allies and enemies. A lot of them are fan favorites that have people very excited. But first, let’s focus on who is actually confirmed to show up.

5. Vice Admiral Smoker

At the end of season 1, a figure smoking two cigars burns Luffy’s wanted poster. We don’t see his face, but the twin cigars can only be Smoker. Vice Admiral Smoker tries to hunt down Luffy in Loguetown, but Monkey D Dragon stops him. He later shows up again at Arabasta, where he teams up with Luffy to stop Crocodile.

Vice Admiral Smoker is an extremely interesting character. He gives us a worldview of the Marines that we haven’t seen, one that is not devoted to absolute justice. Instead, he handles things on a case by case basis. This leads him to work with the Straw Hats when the true depth of Crocodile’s plan comes to light. He is a very complex character. Many fans are happy to see what he will be like in live-action.

4. Tony Tony Chopper

There have been a lot of questions about how the lovable reindeer will be brought to live action. But he is coming, and fans couldn’t be more excited. This also confirms that season 2 will adapt the Drum Island saga, where Chopper is first introduced. Jaco Snyman, the Head of Prosthetics for the series, said that Chopper would be mostly prosthetics. The process would be similar to how Arlong was done for the series, but likely more involved.

No matter what, Chopper will be adorable. Additionally, many fans are excited to see how his transformations will look in live action as well! He’s got a lot of them that he shows off on Drum Island, and they will look fantastic. Plus, both in-universe and out of it, he is an adorable character and one of the mascots!

3. Dr. Kureha

Dr. Kureha is Chopper’s mentor, and a key figure in the Drum Island arc. The casting has not been outright confirmed. However, many fans have been calling for Jamie Lee Curtis to play the doctor. Additionally, she has posted fan art of herself as the doctor on social media. The post itself expressed her desire to play the role. Plus, a showrunner actually responded.

So hopefully she will join the cast as the tough love focused but well meaning doctor. She gives a lot of lore information in the anime. It is also her words that inspire Chopper to join the Straw Hats as well. She’s pretty important, and fans can’t wait to see Jamie Lee Curtis play her in the live-action version!

2. Nico Robin

We are delving into the cast members who haven’t gotten any confirmation. Still, with the villainous Baroque Works showing up, another Straw Hat shows up as well. Nico Robin, or Miss All Sunday, shows up. Initially working with Crocodile, it is revealed that she only wants access to his Road Poneglyph. Once she gets it, she joins the Straw Hats.

Nico Robin is such a complex character as well as the key to a lot of other upcoming storylines. So fans want to see her show up and also to see who plays her! Additionally, seeing her Devil Fruit Powers in live-action will be interesting too. Being able to sprout any part of your body from any surface is an interesting power any way you slice it. It will be a fantastic power to have in live action for sure!

1. Princess Nefertari Vivi

The true leader of Arabasta, Vivi was a spy inside of Baroque Works. But they discovered her and she joined the Straw Hats. Through this, the crew learned of the situation in Arabasta. She unofficially joined the crew for a while as well. She had a very interesting world view that came in conflict with the rest of the Straw Hats. Despite being in a nation that was at war, she didn’t want a single person to die. Sadly, she had to learn that during war death is inevitable.

She was a fan favorite for her chemistry with the rest of the crew. Plus, many fans even wanted her to join the crew and sail the seas as a pirate. While she ended up keeping her throne, she does have a part to play in the Final Saga. It will also be very interesting to see how she acts during the live-action series. Many fans are eagerly awaiting her arrival during the storyline!

More Characters Announcements Are Likely Coming

Wapol, Crocodile, the rest of Baroque Works, Tashigi, and more will all likely come to live-action. We will see how the One Piece live-action series brings the Arabasta saga to a satisfying conclusion in just 8 episodes. No matter how they do it, at least they will have a star studded cast! That gives them something to work with!
